I keep entering airports waiting to see my ma, wait to see some stranger pushing her in a wheelchair and her finger pointing forward, her sick swollen face, her half smile, knowing she is almost there. This rewinds and replays over and over in my head. Last night my body cramped up, tightened into wet circles on my sheets. I dreamt she was in an ambulance or something this time....
