this week marked the last week i ever heard my mama’s voice or spoke with her. i want to tell her so much, give her a piece of my mind, scream and rage some, cry intensely, sing old joints, celebrate her resting. after all that anger, i’d wanna watch the movies “beaches” and “best of the best” because those were her favorites. we had a complex relationship.
