HELLA HEATED! summer food spottings 9/2011
[speaking of crisp and bright fresh salads, a long-time winner and frequent appetizer that is predictably favored and shared is the green papaya salad. already in my queer/trans PRIDE coverage we talked about how fabulous west village’s TUE Thai Food is. why not just show y’all again? hip on all things queer, dear friend celiany ‘chela’ rivera velázquez and i customarily split apps to catch up on the latest QTPOC chisme/tsismis. there’s nothing like sharing artistic development, queer/trans alliances, and love check-ins over a table full of different delicious small plates of food.  above a simple and crunchy salad is photographed, not to mention a lovely red blouse that coincidentally matches the dishware. i had to point that out, what kind of a friend would i be if i didn’t highlight the ensemble?]
